Baked With Lev is a female owned and operated baking company in Chicago. Jennie Levitan, the hands and heart behind the business, developed her love of baking and eating yummy desserts at a young age. She quietly pursued this path with family and friends for years and, after she left her job in tech advertising at the end of 2022, she turned her passion side project into a business. And so, ‘Baked with Lev’ was born.

The origin of the name comes from Jennie’s married name, Levitan. “Lev” means “heart” in Hebrew. Baked With Lev is a play on the common saying, baked with love, but it really is a name to showcase and ensure that everything that goes into her oven is baked with a tremendous amount of heart. It also doesn’t hurt that Jennie’s high school sweetheart (and now husband) has the initials BWL!

Jennie is constantly baking irresistibly delicious cookies, bars, and breakfast pastries. She primarily provides baked goods for work events, birthday parties, holidays, dinner parties, and life moments, however, she is also more than happy to make half a dozen cookies or brownies when you’re having a rough week.
